CSC Celebrates 30 Years!

CSC is very proud to announce that 2009 represents our 30th year in business. As one of our goals for this year, we have rolled out our new web site. This site contains links to our products and service offerings, user forum, documentation for our ERP application, and access to emergency support.

Over the past 30 years, CSC has been providing world-class services to clients throughout the United States. Included in our many service offerings are web development, SQL Server database management and application support by Microsoft certified professionals, Linux, Windows, Solaris, Unix, and network support, application help desk support, and report and query development. Our network support encompasses all aspects of server maintenance and backup, router and firewall configuration, peripherals, hardware support, and desktop integration. Support is available for both in-house servers and offsite hosted environments.

Our programming staff has extensive coding experience with MS SQL Server 2000/2005, MS Access, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, JavaScript, and PHP. In addition to customization of standard software packages, we also design and code custom applications for unique business requirements and integrate custom applications with several third party packages. We support integration with forms design software, bar code applications, data mapping applications, HTML and AS400 screen capturing software, and data search utilities.

Order Processing

 

Improve Customer Service
The interactive windows of TelesisMFG Order Processing allow smooth, uninterrupted order processing to respond to customer questions immediately; eliminating return calls and lost sales. Data entry is made easier through user-defined default values for frequently-used fields.

Order Entry provides instant inventory item inquiry while entering a line item to get actual quantity on-hand and quantity available. When appropriate, substitute items are identified to reduce backorders and build customer confidence. Order Entry notifies you when an item has associated items that should be ordered together and part numbers can be cross-referenced to match your item number with a customer's part number. Order Entry also checks to see whether the customer has been certified to purchase the item.

Different types of notes are available an the order header as well as for each line item so special comments or conditions can be recorded and kept with the order.

Order Processing allows setting up blanket orders for customers with whom a large contract has been negotiated. As goods are shipped for a blanket order, the original contract order quantities are reduced by the quantities shipped.

Control on Line Item Basis
Order Processing gives you the flexibility to control conditions down to the line item within the order. Each item can have different "ship to" addresses, "ship via" information, methods of payment, payment terms, salespeople, and cost centers.

Verify Customer Credit
Order Entry verifies credit limit against outstanding orders as well as current sale for a complete look at a customer's history. Full credit checking is provided both going into the order and coming out of the order.

Flexable Pricing and Quotes
TelesisMFG Order Processing provides flexible pricing to help sales quote accurate prices based on previous orders and discounts in effect. You can base price on a line item or on an entire order and can make mass price changes for all or a specified range of items in one or more product categories. Order Entry automatically displays inventory price based on customer price level, sales unit, and quantity. If you override prices, they will be flagged on transaction lists.

Order Processing

Order Processing gives you multiple pricing levels for each item. Discounts are available for each item by customer and by products. Pricing is rules based using multiple criteria for the customer and item in a hierarchical structure of discounting. Order Processing includes a valuable facility for documenting customer quotes, follow-up work or procedures, and customer comments with a history of each price calculation.

Quotes and orders use the same format. Quotes can be converted into orders by changing one field. Quotes can be cross-referenced on orders.

Order Processing's Shipping Features
Order Processing's shipping function prints picking tickets, packing lists (containing shipment lot and serial numbers], bills of lading, and regular or bar-coded shipping labels. Shipping immediately records returned items, eliminating the possibility of customer service not knowing that the item has been returned. Orders can be processed centrally, but shipped from multiple locations.
