ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Contemporary Software Concepts (CSC) was founded in 1979 by John P. Scott to provide integrated software applications, software development, and related hardware support for small to mid-size manufacturers. Since then CSC has been providing world-class services to clients throughout the United States supporting various manufacturing packages as well as custom applications.
Originally working on powerful proprietary computer systems in the early 1980’s, today CSC’s expert software engineers work with various network operating systems, databases, and third party software.
CSC is an IBM Business Partner, specifically an Application Specialist for the manufacturing and distribution market. IBM along with Sun Solaris, are frequently used platforms for manufacturing and distribution software due to the industrial strength nature of the operating system. Custom applications have been developed on Windows platforms using Access, SQL Server, Ingres and MySQL.
In recent years CSC has expanded service offerings to provide e-commerce capabilities for our manufacturing clients. Website interfaces are available for order placement and fulfillment regardless of the application. We also provide helpdesk support, software as a service, and system support for offsite data storage.
Beyond providing ongoing support to our clients, Contemporary Software Concepts invests an extensive amount of time evaluating new packaged software. Because of this investment, we can provide the most cost effective software solutions to our growing client base.
